A: Zack and Aubree, a young married couple living in Denver, write this blog. When they're not eating pizza, Zack works as a software consultant and Aubree teaches 6th grade English and operates A Keys Photography (contact her if you need portraits!).
Q: How does this blog work?
A: Every week in 2011 (they hope), Zack and Aubree will eat at a different pizza place and let you know what they think about it. Most will be in the Denver area, but when they travel, they reserve the right to explore pizza places in other parts of Colorado and/or other states/countries.
Q: Why did you start this blog?
A: Zack really likes pizza, and Aubree likes writing and taking photographs, so they thought this would be a fun way to combine their interests and visit new places around town.
Q: How do you decide which pizza places to visit?
A: Sometimes it's determined by coupons, as Aubree subscribes to a bunch of Groupon-type sites. Sometimes it's determined by location, recommendations, time constraints, etc. If you have a recommendation, just let them know. If you own or work at a pizza place and can get them a good deal, you'll most likely get top priority!
Q: What types of pizza will you be reviewing?
A: All types will be reviewed...thin crust, NY style, wood fired, deep dish, delivery, etc.
Q: Do the pizza places know they're being reviewed?
A: Not usually. Though Aubree and Zack are taking pictures and notes while there, most places have no idea they're being reviewed until we give them a certificate at the end which lets them know that they're being featured on Denver Pizza Blog.
Q: What else should I know?
A: We don't claim to be professional or fancy foodies, and we're not trying to impress anyone with our descriptions and reviews. We're just going to be honest and give our opinions about the place and its pizza.
